After a wonderfull experience I had during my recent "Desaru" trip, I managed to sell the idea to me wifey and "Lizwan" to experience the same. Initially, due to some unforseen circumstances, plans had to be changed and modified several time.
Finally, after much analysis on the relevant data, we finally agreed upon a road trip to "MALACCA" instead.
The scheduled meet up time was supposed to be 0730hrs but a late wake up call resulted in me and me wifey reaching Lizwan house at 0830hrs.. Parked our cars at the multi storey carpark and we jumped into Lizwan " The MATRIX" automobile...
Off we go..
The causeway had a bit of a JAM...but we managed to clear it within 30mins.
From JB town, we headed straight to the the highway via Lido Beach & Skudai..
Along the journey, we decided to have our "Breakfast" at MACHAP stopover before continueing all the way to MALACCA.
Our first stop at MALACCA was the BEE FARM...*what's up with the Bee thingy* After hearing much of the BEE talk, Jabztin & Lizwan bought a bottle of honey each, promising rich nutrients and goodness that comes with it.
After the BEE thingy experience, we drove straight to "Bandar Hilir" @ka FAMOSA town.
This is a historical place with landmarks dated as early as the 13th century. Much of it still remain intact with minor modification made to the infrastructures.
Even the town itself had little changes made to it..At least not since I last visited MALACCA in 2002. The rows of shops houses kind of remind me of Singapore in the yesteryears and of those at ARAB St now. There are a lot of antique shops available which is an eye feast for those antique collectors.
Here are some of the Classic Landmark that I managed to capture during my visit there.
Prior to this, we had visited the state museum which showcased artifects and findings from the ancient time in Malacca. It was basically a live history book. I had studied some of the history stories during my secondary school so I knew some of those events that was being higlighted there.
...... to catch the second portion of the trip, tune in to
