Into the BLUE (contains semi-nidity)

....VLAN reassignment, firewall reconstruction, crisis contengencies planning, wireless implementation, S2006, ceremonies, training and the list goes on and on and on and on. These are some of the challenges that I had to put up with this month and indeed is a tough month for me. As the saying goes, "When the going gets tough, take half day leave"...and indeed I did juz dat.

Took the PM leave and together with my werkplace "kakis" and decided to go Into the BLUE...

Of the 4 whom recalled, only 2 responded and without much delay, we meet up @ Sentosa Island @ 1350hrs.

First stop, Tanjong Beach. A much secluded BEACH at the far end of Sentosa Island. Not much of a crowd there today thus' we decided to check out the rest of the available beaches.

Found a cool spot and within seconds we get ourselves confortable.
Some of us even took the time to catch up with world updates.

....as for me.....Its "CASINO ROYALE" time.

Played a game called "Tai Tee"...Wonder what that was suppose to mean. Anyway, I am a lousy card player thus the 2 bugger took the opportunity to trash me inside out in the card game. Damn CONMAN !

My mind wasn't set on the card game...Looking at the DEEP BLUE Sea, I could not wait to get a dip.

After loosing a few rounds the card game, I call it a QUIT..Me & Card don't gel well....at least that is what I think.

I immediately took off to the sea ...

I could feel my body getting recharged the moment it came into contact with the sea water... Prehaps it was the cool water that does the trick.

Soon, the rest followed.

We had a game of beach soccer with some youngsters and managed to beat them 5 - 3. hehehe..Not bad huh for mostly senior men team. Overall, it was a good game played.

We stayed in the water for about 30-40 mins to enjoy the surrounding scenery and of course did some laps between the nearby island before calling it a quit. Its already 1650hrs. Time to make an exit.

While walking toward the rest room, Uncle Chua spotted the "Dead Man Chest" and could not resist the temptation of having it for his own.

.....and all we could say to him, "Take LaH". Do watever u want with it. I was quite contented with having to play with the fountain water...(a man with simple needs)

A lot have changed at Sentosa. The rest / bathing rooms seem to be of an open concept. Very much airy

Not too sure of the women side of the story... Prehaps any ladies care to update on the women portion of the toilet ? Similar concept to the men ?

Once we're done, we began to proceed to Tanjong Beach to get our ride. Both "kakis" of mine had to return home while I will only need to fetch me wifey about 4hrs later...hmmmmmm....wat to do ! wat to do !

Armed myself with my NIKON S5 Digi Cam, I began to scout the island beaches in search of the perfect sunset. And the results are as follow.

Realised that my there my Nikon S5 sux. Not much manual control over it and its focusing power is just not good enough.

Time checked : 1920hrs. Time to leave.

Kidz Central

Kidz, kidz, kidz ...... They are everywhere. Not that I'm complaining. I love them especially on seeing the purity that comes out from their facial expression in any situations.

It is only during family gathering such as this am I abled to meet up with my little nephews & niece whom some I even had difficulties remembering their names. There were just too many of them... (its an invation)

"Baby Farhan", being the lastest inclusion to the family was blessed with the goodness of health and may he be a filial son to the parents and a good contributor to the society.

"Baby Sasabil" (featured on the left) whom happened to hold the title for being the latest inclusion to the family sometime back also attend the blessing ceremony.

..and also not forgetting the rest of the "Teens Titans"
of which some even came alongside their "Nanny". Checkout the cool dude on the left...That is "Baby Haikel".
Below are Haikel Sizters.

While the bigger ones are left to play on their own, the little ones played under close supervision.

This is to ensure there wasn't any violation of the nature's law such as eating tissue paper, bitting ones handphones or even licking the window grills.

Having said this much, I concluded that it was indeed a fun day of "Kidz Galore"

Optz Sentz™

Codename : Optz Sentz™

It was indeed a wet morning to start the operation but soon afterward, the weather start to brighten up thus allowing me and my team to conduct our optz.

Picked up Commander "DIN" @ 1200hrs and began proceeding to redesvous point.

Reached Sentz @ 1245hrs.

We parked our command vehicles @ tanjong beach and we took the tramp ride to scout the other parts

of the island.

Much infor. were gathered during our recce thus allowing up to pick the best location to setup "Command Post"

..and from our "Command Post", we manage to identify a few targets that we are looking for...*wink*

Nothing escape the ever sharp eyes of Commander DIN. Since Commander DIN decides that this is a covert operation, we shall adopt the wait & see method. Informations gather may be usefull in our subsequent mission soon.

Time checked 1600hrs...nothing much more to cover and thus Commander DIN called for "Stand Down".... Packed our stuff and began proceeding to the nearest Safe Zone (Toilet).

It was indeed the mission successful but not accomplished....

Time checked 1730hrs...Received a call from the "Commander in Chief" ....*darn*.

Sure kena "F" one .....

Senja di perairan ....

"Hembusan angin senja, membawa ku kesana...Di situ cinta bermula..."

Terkenang aku akan lagu yg lama yg menyesuaikan diriku dalam keadaan sedemikian yg ku rasa...

Angin sepoi bertiupan sambil aku memandang kearah Sang Suria yg semakin menghilang dek di lindungi awan senja..

Aku terdiam, aku terpaku..
Keheningan Senja membawa rasa yg bergitu syahdu untuk diriku.
Dengan di iringi belaian ombak yg seolah memukau fikiran ku...lalu bertanyalah aku....
Siapalah aku...?
Aderkah aku ..?
Mengapalah
Aku ..??
(PS : For those whom do not understand Malay, don't worry. I too don't understand what the hell I juz wrote)

...a SHOOT to KILL

Finally, after month of planning, we finally agreed upon a mission. Codename :
"Opz Dawn" .

Me and my buddy decided to meet up at Changi to carry out the mission. It was indeed a good morning for a shootout.

We took up positions and armed ourselves waiting for that perfect shot.

...at last, at 0715hrs, we spotted the subject carefully emerging from its hiding.

Armed with our killer instinct, we began to engaged in the shootout... and without fear and favour we began to shoot from every angle possible.

Adrenaline starts to flow.... Situation becomes more intense thus a need to inprovise our tactics.

...and within minutes, calmness began to restore. Life was back to normal signalling the beginning of a Perfect Day.

Nature Boyz

Its that time of the month..and what am I refering to ?
Ahhhh !!!! Total indulgence ... Do the WET thing !

Took a day leave from werk for me & me buddy to harmonise with nature...

----------------------------------
Had a shock upon reaching the Waterfall entrance counter when I was told to pay $9Rm per pax and additional $5Rm for the car.... End up paying $23Rm to enter Kota Tinggi waterfall...Damnz..I never had to pay such a high price to enjoy the waterfall. Watz up with dat !
Anyway, what the heck...Since we drove almost 60 over KM I think..I might as well enter...
Nothing much changed at Kota Tinggi waterfall except for some new water slides..It looks weird though having a man made slides there..Does not seems to blend nicely with the enviroment..
The water there was cold...but is managable ... as least for me...Am quite used to the temp. of the water there...(*its all in the mind*)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic We spend almost 1 hrs before proceeding to the next activity which will not be covered in this MODULE !...

... longing for the sun

BINTAN.

An Island which I last visited about 1 years plus back sure does bring back fun memories of life with the Sun the Sand & the Sea.

20th May 06, and its time that I relived those fun memories with a trip to the island itself.

Reached TANAH MERAH FERRY TERMINAL @ 1000hrs. Waited for about 30mins before the check in gates are open for passangers.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

By 1110hrs, we already in the ferry on our journey to the Island called BINTAN..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The journey took about 1 hr. Water was choppy resulting in the ferry bouncing up & down. It was rather fun for me but not for some. I now 1 person whom did not enjoy those moments *wink*.

Before set sail, we had a bit of a drama onboard. Tinz had found a wallet at her seat and when checked, we found that it contained about $500. *Kching*. Wild thoughts began rushing to my mind...$500 and we could all be having lots and lots and lots and a lot of fun. But suddently reality sinked in. Lily checked the wallet and realised it belong to on of the passanger onboard and immediately handed over the the rightful owner. And within seconds, everything is back to normal. Kudos to Lily for her action although wild thoughts actually crossed my mind...BAD Kitty !...anyway, I'll probably would have done the same..err "I think"
"

Enough of the DRAMA.

Upon reaching Bandar Bintan, we headed straight to our resort via bus.

Welcome to MANA MANA BEACH RESORT

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

First thing first, we checked in and soon after, we began looking at the SEA ACTIVITIES MENU for the day

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This was then followed by negotiation for the best activity.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After much thoughts, we all agreed on a Snorkling Trip which cost us $35 each. It seems like the best activity at that time. We were told to be report at the counter of the sea sport shop @ 1330hrs. Before that, we decided to check out the waters there.

As we still have about 1 hr till the snorkerling session, we decided to head back to our cabana for some rest when suddenly it began to rain heavily. Had to wait for almost 2 hrs before the snorkerling trip resume.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We took a boat to a place called "BARACUDA Bay".. Not that there are baracudas there but just a name the Islanders called it. Almost clear water with lots of corals available. A sight almost similar to TIOMAN Monkey Bay.

Was given 1 hrs for snorkling there before we were taken back to MANA MANA.

.....continue someother time
